Gold Hill Mesa
The Exchange Community Center at Gold Hill Mesa
Overlooking downtown from the foothills just west of Interstate 25, Gold Hill Mesa is a traditional neighborhood development on the West side of Colorado Springs. Just two miles from downtown and even closer to the city's two major highways, this community is one of the most sought after locations in the entire Pikes Peak region. Gold Hill Mesa residents enjoy some of the best amenities in the entire city, with beautifully landscaped streets, walking paths and parks, not to mention a massive community center at the heart of the neighborhood. Residents also enjoy the state of the art fitness center outfitted with the latest in exercise equipment, allowing residents to get the full gym experience without getting in their car or keeping up with costly gym membership dues. When Gold Hill residents do decide to venture outside the community, they don't have to go far to find what they're looking for. The neighborhood is just minutes from Old Colorado City, with its world-class shopping and dining opportunities, and Bear Creek Park, with a leash-free dog park, is about a 10-minute walk from GHM. In addition, the neighborhood's proximity to US Highway 24 and Interstate 25 means that residents are less than a half hour from anywhere in Colorado Springs. Homes in Gold Hill Mesa are diverse both in architechtural style and price. While the majority of Gold Hill Mesa homes are of the single-family variety, there is a small development of condominiums within the neighborhood that typically sell for $75,000 to $150,000. Detached homes in GHM, on the other hand, typically sell for anywhere from the high $100's to the high $400's.
